For general bloggage with a heaping scoop of art, gardening, and publishing kibbitzing, I like Tea with the Squash God at http://www.redwombatstudio.com/blog/ (though I read it over at LiveJournal, usually). For life oriented, personal essays, I like Sans Fig Leaf at http://www.sansfigleaf.com/ and for Buffy/Spike, alternate universe with original important characters, I like pretty much everything written here http://sleepingjaguars.com/buffy/ ... there are a lot more.
